Senior API Integration & Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior API Integration & Management Specialist to
oversee, manage, and optimize our integration with various third-party APIs such as Google Maps,
Uber, Payment Gateways and other SaaS platforms. The ideal candidate will play a key role in
designing, developing, and maintaining robust API connections that are scalable, secure, and aligned
with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end integration with third-party APIs (Google, Uber, Stripe/Razorpay,
  WhatsApp APIs, CRMs, etc.)
• Analyze API documentation and provide implementation strategy and execution.
  Collaborate with product, development, and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely API
  integration.
• Ensure all external APIs are optimized for performance, reliability, and security.
  Monitor and troubleshoot API performance issues, downtimes, or failures.
  Stay updated with changes or deprecations in third-party APIs and ensure timely migrations or
  adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and best practices (OAuth, REST, SOAP,
  Webhooks, etc.)
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to integrations and workflows.
  Implement version control and rollback plans for APIs and integrations.
  Handle vendor communication, support escalations, and SLA management related to APIs.

Key Skills Required:

• Deep understanding of API concepts (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, Webhooks)
  Experience working with popular 3rd party APIs (e.g., Google Maps, Uber APIs,
  Razorpay/Stripe, Twilio, SendGrid, etc.)
• Proficiency in backend development languages (Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP)
  Familiarity with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and API Gateway tools
  Experience with OAuth 2.0, API tokens, and other authentication mechanisms
• Strong understanding of JSON, XML, and data transformation
• Solid experience with API monitoring, logging, and debugging tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
